ABB Ability™ Smart Sensor for motors
ABB AbilityTM Smart Sensor for motors is a low-cost, wireless, pocket-sized sensor that attaches to the frame of a low voltage motor and collects vital data such as vibration, temperature and other key parameters.
The sensor is set to bring condition monitoring to every single low voltage electric motor. The information gathered is used to reduce motor downtime by up to 70 percent, extend lifetime by as much as 30 percent and lower energy use by up to 10 percent.
